Games ' Well-being Brain' Not Great Promise




Games for the Nintendo DS, such as Big Brain Academy, Brain Training and Brain Age is able to maintain 'freshness' brain. In fact, the game is not sehebat promised.

This is expressed through the research conducted by Alain Lieury, professor of cognitive psychology areas of the University of Rennes in France. According to the ability Lieury game is the same as or less of the PR, read or play Sudoku.

Lieury research on 67 children aged 10 years. They were divided into four groups, two group games to play 'brain' in the Nintendo DS for two weeks, one group playing puzzle with conventional paper and pencil like Sudoku and a group more like a normal school.

The result, no significant differences in cognitive tests conducted before and after the experiment. The group play Nintendo DS shows 19 percent improvement in math, but this is equivalent to the group that play puzzles on paper. While the school? 18 percent improvement.
