Cut Grass More fun with the Nintendo Wii




The academics at the University of Southern Denmark flow mowing a special robot called Casmobot. Special because the robot is quite manageable with the Wii game console controller, which is the wiimote.

"Project Casmobot make this activity more efficient, cut the grass," claims Kjeld Jensen, one of the author demonstrating the robot while in the pasture on the campus.

Quoted from detikINET Telegraph, Tuesday (7/4/2009), Casmobot be controlled with the wiimote that has been modified normal. Communicate with the wiimote is mowing robot is via Bluetooth technology.

Casmobot will also move according to movement wiimote. If moved to the front of the wiimote, Casmobot will also go to the front. In fact, Casmobot can be programmed to automatically cut grass independently.

Jensen claims the robot is also well received when introduced to the community. They even laugh because of preoccupation with the robot to play the wiimote. To the future, such technology may be applied in various devices, such as a wheelchair to assist the movement difabel. (Source: Detiknet)
